Do any of you have a wiring diagram for dummies? Pictures with color coding and labels would be nice. Im specifically looking for the wires that run into the drivers side door. I wanted to straight wire from the door to the inside of the kick panel. After cutting off the connectors inside the door I noticed there were an extra two wires running through the rubber boot to the door but there were not matching wires for them inside the door. The wires are color coded yellow with a red stripe and yellow with a white stripe. They are the two located upper right of the picture. Not sure what they are for but I have them unhooked right now. Any ideas?

I also forgot to mention after doing all of this is now I have no wipers, speedometer, odometer, front left headlight. And im getting the P0500 and P0443 codes. Everything was fine until I did this. Maybe the two wires have something to do with it?

To make my issue a little more clear. I found a diagram that shows pins 1 & 2 held my wires. As mentioned before the harness that attached to this did not have contacts or wires running to these positions so Im stuck with these two wires not being connected to anything.

Those two wires are used for the mirror day/night dimming option which you apparently do not have. (see the attachment) They wouldn't have anything to do with the trouble codes you are getting.

Without more information and with no disrespect intended, I would guess that what you have done so far has made kind of a mess of the factory wiring in the door and in the area of the Junction Block and BCM. If any of the wiring changes you have made so far were done while the battery was connected, there could be any number of blown fuses, and that could account for some of the equipment failures you are experiencing. I wish you good luck fixing everything.

No disrespect taken. I myself have said the last couple of days that I've horsed something up. I did unhook the battery cables before doing it all though. I am also leaning towards some fuses being blown.

I bought a tester the other day and was poking and prodding at wires after I hooked the battery back up. I think during this process I have blown some fuses. Tonight I plan on testing the fuses using the power tester. I really hope that's all it is.

My drivers side windows and locks still work so Im once again stuck with figuring out why the passengers side won't work intermittently. Maybe if I find and replace some fuses my problem will be fixed.

Well I used my tester on the fuses. I hooked the clipper up to the negative terminal and started prodding across the tops of the fuses. There were about 7 or 8 of them that didn't light up. I thought I'd just go buy some fuses and replace them and then problem solved. Nope!

I replaced the fuses, retested them, and they didn't light up either. So for grins and giggles I hooked the tester clip to the positive terminal of the battery. Lo and behold the fuses that didn't light before are now lit. Is this supposed to happen?

So I still have no speedometer, a stuck odometer, no drivers side headlight, ABS and Brake light on, and a check engine light giving me P0443. I should've never cut the wiring harnesses out. None of this happened until I did that.

On a positive note, my passengers side windows and locks started to work today. But as I hit potholes in the rode sometimes they will stop working again. I also noticed I now have a small antifreeze leak. I just paid this POS off so I guess now it's going to die on me.

Well I'm at a loss of what to do . I have a short in the wiring somewhere but I have no idea where its at. There was a connector for my drivers side headlight that sat near the grill that was getting leaked all over. I have a radiator leak there. I figured the wires just got wet there and shorted out. So today I cut the wires back to where they were dry and spliced them back together. Still nothing. I know the bulbs arent burnt out because I switched them out.

Still no speedometer, still same reading on the odometer, still no wipers, still no drivers headlight, still not able to set cruise control, still ABS and brake light on, and still getting a P0443 evap code.
